150m2 in Daikanyama, one of the Trendy Spot of Tokyo.
A space than can welcome different kinds of events as parties or fashion shows or showrooms or simply act as a bar too.
The design had to be simple yet with an interesting and remarkable atmosphere. I had the chance to work on a global concept, designing the space and the different pieces of furniture as well,... as the stage, the chairs, and a giant M shaped Dj Booth.
The most remarkable point of this space design, yet hidden as a wabi-sabi japanese concept is the floor, I tried for the first time a concrete flooring in which we melted charcoal powder to get a specific effect. This flooring looks like a giant black and soft rug, not as a common concrete floor. The touch of it is amazingly soft, that was worth a try.
